PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop extractor that dispenses with necessity of cutting off an upper end of a crop body in post-processing and that can enhance work efficiency.SOLUTION: The root crop extractor includes: an extracting transporting device 200 that extracts a crop W to hold and transport a leaf part W1 to the rear； an aligning device 300 that arranges the upper end position of the body part W2 of the crop W to hold a lower leaf part W1 than the part held by the extracting transporting device 200； a leaf part cutting device 400 that cuts off the leaf part W1 whose position is arranged by the aligning device 300, at a position between the one held by the extracting transporting device 200 and the one held by the aligning device 300； and a body cutting device 500 that cuts off the upper end side of the body part W2 whose position is arranged by the aligning device 300. In addition, the root crop extractor is provided with a crop tilting device 900 that tilts the crop W forward by coming into contact with the rear face side of the crop W which is cut off at the upper end side of the body part W2 by the body cutting device 500 and is returned to a hole in the field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
