The present invention relates to a multi-functional carbon dioxide absorber applicable for packing of fresh agro products and fermented foods, and a method for manufacturing the same. In order to mitigate an excessively high concentration of carbon dioxide which is formed after a packing process of fresh agro products having high water content and fermented foods, the prevent invention has an effect of providing a multi-functional carbon dioxide absorber capable of absorbing carbon dioxide under a condition in which moisture is present inside a packing container.
