PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of storing a prescribed volume of a food product such as a beverage and a prescribed volume of carbon dioxide gas, and to provide a method for manufacturing a beverage package capable of manufacturing a food product such as a beverage in which a prescribed amount of carbon dioxide gas is dissolved.SOLUTION: A packaging container comprises an outer container formed of carbon dioxide gas impermeable material and an inner container formed of carbon dioxide gas permeable material, which is arranged inside the outer container, and therefore has a double constitution. The outer container and the inner container are integrated so that the packaging container is provided with a storing part for a food product such as a beverage and a storing part for carbon dioxide gas. With this packaging container, a package of a food product such as a carbonated beverage can be manufactured by filling the beverage into the storing part for a food product such as a beverage, filling carbon dioxide gas into the storing part for carbon dioxide gas, sealing the storing parts and storing the beverage.
