The present invention provides: a silicon-based fertilizer that promotes the growth of plants, especially monocotyledons, and increases the yield of seeds or fruits of the plants； and a method for producing cultivated plants using the silicon-based fertilizer. Silicon is supplied to plants, the silicon being stabilized in the form of metasilicate ions (SiO32-), by using a vitreous foam fired body obtained by adding a foaming agent to a waste glass pulverized raw material and firing, the supply of silicon making the plants larger and raising the photosynthesis level of the plants, thereby increasing the yield of seeds or fruits.La présente invention concerne : un engrais à base de silicium qui favorise la croissance des plantes, en particulier des monocotylédones, et augmente la production de graines ou de fruits des plantes ； et un procédé de production de plantes cultivées utilisant cet engrais à base de silicium. Du silicium est apporté aux plantes, le silicium étant stabilisé sous la forme d'ions métasilicate (SiO3-), à l'aide d'un corps vitreux expansé cuit obtenu par ajout d'un agent d'expansion à une matière première pulvérisée à base de verre usagé, puis cuisson, l'apport en silicium rendant les plantes plus grandes et augmentant le niveau de photosynthèse chez les plantes, ce qui permet d'augmenter la production de graines ou de fruits.植物、特に単子葉植物の成長を促進し、その種子ないし果実の収量を増大させるケイ素系肥料およびこれを用いた栽培植物の生産方法を提供するものである。廃ガラス粉砕原料に発泡剤を加えて焼成したガラス質発泡焼成体を用いることで、植物にケイ素分をメタケイ酸イオン（ＳｉＯ３２－）の形で安定して供給し、植物体が大きくなり光合成量が増えることで、種子ないし果実の収量を増大させる。
