PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in fitness, followability to the movement of a wearer, a leakage preventing property and a wear feeling.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet 3 and a vertically long absorbent body 4 interposed between both sheets. The absorbent body 4 comprises four absorption sheets 42-45 successively connected in the longitudinal direction. For the absorption sheets 42-45, respective side end parts in the longitudinal direction are vertically piled up with each other to form a connection part 48 and the connection part 48 is provided on the width direction center part of the respective absorption sheets 42-45.
