PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging structure of an absorbent article which, when abandoning used absorbent article, keeps a state where the used absorbent article is housed in a bag-like part, consequently makes it impossible to view the used absorbent article from the outside and prevents the diffusion of odor.

SOLUTION: The packaging structure of the absorbent article 1 is provided with an absorbent 4 interposed between a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 and a back surface sheet 2 and is packaged by a packaging sheet 10 in a package state, wherein the bag-like part 13 is constituted of a bag-like part forming sheet 11 which is provided on the upper surface or lower surface of the packaging sheet 10 and in a prescribed length from the longitudinal direction end part of the packaging sheet 10 and forming an opening 14 to the longitudinal direction center, and an extending/contracting member 15 is disposed along the opening edge of the bag-like part forming sheet 11 forming the opening 14, the absorbent article 1 is mounted while its longitudinal direction matches with the packaging sheet 10, and is folded and packaged together with the packaging sheet 10.
