PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article and a package structure of the absorbent article which are excellent in appearance of the absorbent article and its opened state as well as the appearance of the package structure, and can provide stability at the time of self-standing of the package structure of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable surface sheet a liquid impermeable leakage prevention sheet disposed oppositely to the surface sheet and an absorber which is disposed between the surface sheet and the leakage prevention sheet, and asymmetrical in a longitudinal direction. The absorbent article is bent at a plurality of bending parts, and has a first maximum width part where the length of the absorber in a lateral direction becomes maximum. The first maximum width part extends in the longitudinal direction so as to be 45% or more and 100% or less of the length of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction.
