PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packaging a rod-like sushi that sets a direction of a packaging and conveying work to a longitudinal direction of a rectangular sheet that winds and packages the outer periphery of a sushi body when a work for wrapping the outer periphery of the rod-like sushi with a film sheet is performed, which can shorten time and labor for the packaging work as much as possible, and can also simplify a structure of a packaging sheet.SOLUTION: A method for packaging a rod-like sushi which packages the rod-like sushi with a laver sheet-involving rectangular sheet and an end face wrapping piece for wrapping the end face of the rod-like sushi includes: a step of conveying the rectangular sheets in parallel in a direction in series to a longitudinal direction； and a step of housing the rod-like sushi in a winding rectangular sheet while wrapping both end faces of the rod-like sushi with the additional provided end face wrapping piece when the rod-like sushi body is wound by the rectangular sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 棒状寿司の外周をフィルムシートで包皮する作業を行うに際し、寿司本体の外周を巻回包装する長方形シートの長手方向に包装搬送作業の方向を設定することにより、包装作業の時間と手間を可及的に短縮することが出来、しかも、包装シートの構造も簡略化できる棒状寿司の包装方法。【解決手段】 棒状寿司を、海苔シート内包の長方形シートと、棒状寿司端面を包皮する端面包皮片とで包装する棒状寿司の包装方法において、長方形シートを長手方向に直列方向に並列搬送する工程と、長方形シートで棒状寿司本体を巻回する際に、別途設けた端面包皮片で棒状寿司両端面を包皮しながら巻回長方形シート内に収納する工程と、を設けたことを特徴とする棒状寿司の包装方法を提供するものである。【選択図】図１
