PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having an excellent fitting property in leg movement and excellent lateral leakage prevention performance.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: an absorption element including an absorber, a top sheet, and a back sheet and a pair of flap parts. The absorber is divided, in the width direction, into a center part extending in the longer direction and a pair of bilateral parts extending in the longer direction on both sides of the center part. The absorber includes: an absorption core layer in the center part and flexible member layers including webs including long fibers in the bilateral parts. A flap part includes: a fixation part at a position overlapping with a bilateral part of the absorber in the thickness direction and a leg movement gathering elastic member extending in the longer direction on the outer side, in the width direction, as compared with the fixation part.
