PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving absorption capacity of an excreted liquid while securing an ability to diffuse the excreted liquid on a liquid diffusion sheet repeatedly and utilizing a whole absorber effectively.SOLUTION: A liquid permeable sheet 11 has a plurality of protrusion parts 11a rising on a surface of an opposite side to an absorber 4 of the liquid permeable sheet 11 in a direction opposite to the absorber 4, and a plurality of recesses 11b provided between the adjacent protrusion parts 11a and 11a. A liquid diffusion sheet 13 extending to a longer direction of the absorber 4 is disposed between the absorber 4 and a liquid impermeable sheet.
