PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing loosening or twisting of side parts of the absorbent article, and simultaneously, reducing frictional stimulation to a skin and solving skin trouble.SOLUTION: Both side parts of an absorber arrangement area on a skin contact surface side of an absorbent article 1, comprises plural filamentous embossments 8, 8, ... in which a width direction component length of the absorbent article 1 is outstanding with an interval in a longer direction of the absorbent article 1, which are arranged along the longer direction of the absorbent article 1 and aligned, by embossing from an outer surface of a liquid permeable surface sheet 3.
