The present invention relates to antimicrobial peptoids with improved selectivity to bacteria and a use thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to antimicrobial peptoids with high antimicrobial activity and greatly reduced toxicity to animal cells. The antimicrobial peptoids of the present invention exhibits excellent antimicrobial activity against bacteria and low cytotoxicity to cells of animals by changing the charge properties or the degree of folding of the spiral structure.
