PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing packed boiled rice in a short time, by which contents in a container are not scattered on the periphery on the boiling of rice, and the energy of microwaves can efficiently be used, and to provide a device therefor.SOLUTION: The method for producing the packed boiled rice, includes a rice-supplying process for charging a prescribed amount of rice into a container whose upper portion is opened, a rice-boiling process for heating and boiling the rice in the container, a water-supplying process for supplying supplementing rice-boiling water after the rice-boiling process, and a process for seal-packing the container after the water-supplying process.
