PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good fragrant retort curry in which the obnoxious flavor of soybean protein is reduced and the fragrant taste quality is improved.SOLUTION: Provided is, by taking advantage of the fact that by containing green cayenne pepper a refreshing and pleasant spice flavoring can be realized, a retort curry characterized in containing the green cayenne pepper in a proportion of 0.1 to 5 wt.% in a case of the raw, 0.01 to 0.5 wt.% in a case of the dried, and 0.001 to 0.3 wt.% in a case of the extracted, as well as in containing soybean protein by 0.1 to 10 wt.% and further containing cardamom.
