The invention relates to a method for the preparation in water of a composite comprising a polymer (P1) and at least one active compound. This method comprises the preparation of an emulsion comprising a HASE type copolymer and a mixture of a monomer comprising at least one polymerizable olefinic unsaturation, at least one active compound and a radical-generating compound, and then the polymerization of the monomer emulsified by heating at a temperature above the temperature required for the polymerization reaction.
