PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing process, to reduce the manufacturing cost by saving the material, reducing the waste and simplifying the structure, and to improve the liquid leakage preventing effect by improving the fitting property.
SOLUTION: A disposable diaper is composed of an absorbent body 10 and external sheets 20 and 30 integrally joined to the absorbent body 10 to compose a front body F and a rear body B. A number of elastic stretchable members 25-28 are disposed along waist parts 21 and 23 and girth parts 22 and 24 between upper nonwoven fabrics 21A and 31A and lower nonwoven fabrics 21B and 31B in the front body F and in the rear body B respectively. The external sheets 20 and 30 in the front body F and/or the rear body B apply the elasticity to the diaper in the longitudinal direction, and are joined to the absorbent body 10 in the stretched state in the longitudinal direction of the diaper. By forming a number of cutting parts C in the area overlapping the absorbent body 10, the elastic stretchable members 25-28 are finely cut.
