PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper hardly restricting a wearers leg and abdominal movement and hardly leaving a fastening mark on the skin.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes an absorbent body containing an absorber, and stretchable side panels 3 extended from both side edges of the absorbent body. The side panel 3 has a stretchable part 30 with a plurality of elastic members 33 arranged in an extended state with mutual spaces between two pieces of nonwoven fabric, and the tip part is provided with a tab 4 having a fixing part 41. A range H1 with the tab 4 in the Y-direction of the side panel 3A has a first stretchable region E with the elastic members 33 continuously fixed between the two pieces of nonwoven fabric, and ranges H2, H3 with no tab in the Y-direction have second stretchable regions F, G with the elastic members 33 intermittently fixed between the two pieces of nonwoven fabric or fixed between the two pieces of nonwoven fabric only at both ends of the stretchable part 30.
