PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by structural simplification and to enhance the effect of preventing liquid leakage through the improvement in fittability.
SOLUTION: The disposable paper diaper includes an absorbent body 10 and exterior sheets 20 and 30 forming a front body F and a back body B and having elastic extensible members arranged in the width direction of the diaper along waist portions 21 and 23 and girth portions 22 and 24 between the upper layer nonwoven fabrics 21A and 31A and lower layer nonwoven fabrics 21B and 31B in each of the front body F and the back body B areas, and uses a material which can be extended in the longitudinal direction of the diaper as the upper layer nonwoven fabrics 21A and 31A and lower player nonwoven fabrics 21B and 31B of the exterior sheets 20 and 30. Also, by using a netlike elastic extensible member 28A made up of warp 28a and weft 28b as the elastic extensible members, longitudinal extensibility of the diaper is given to at least the parts of the exterior sheets 20 and 30 which do not overlie the absorbent body 10.
