PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper capable of facilitating diaper attaching and detaching work and improving the texture of a shirring part around the waist without obstructing flexible force by an elastic flexible member of the shirring part around the waist.
SOLUTION: The pants type disposable diaper includes: an absorbable main body 10 for which an absorbent 12 is interposed between a liquid permeable top sheet 11 and a leakage prevention sheet 19 and a back surface sheet 14 composed of a nonwoven fabric is disposed to an outermost layer a sheet 20 for a back body for which the elastic flexible member is arranged between two nonwoven fabrics 21A and 21B and which is bonded to the back body side of the absorbable main body 10 and a sheet 30 for a front body for which the elastic flexible member is arranged between two nonwoven fabrics 31A and 31B and which is bonded to the front body side of the absorbable main body 10. The nonwoven fabrics constituting the two nonwoven fabrics 21A and 21B constituting the sheet 20 for the back body, the two nonwoven fabrics 31A and 31B constituting the sheet 30 for the front body and the back surface sheet 14 are arranged so as to have the fiber orientation in the roughly longitudinal direction of the diaper.
