PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article preventing the leakage of liquid excretory substance in the width-direction outward and preventing easy leakage of the liquid excretory substance.
SOLUTION: This disposable absorbent article 1 used by being disposed in the inner face side of an outer type absorbent article, includes an absorbent article body 3 which has a surface sheet 4, a back side sheet 5, and an absorber 6 located between the surface sheet 4 and the back side sheet 5. The absorbent article body 3 has a longitudinal direction and the width direction. The surface sheet 4 has a surface-side central section 8 and surface-side both side sections 10. The back side sheet 5 has a back-side central section 12 and back-side both side sections 14. The surface-side central section 8 and the back-side central section 12 are formed to have liquid permeability and the surface-side both side sections 10 and the back-side both side sections 14 are formed to have impermeability. The surface-side central section 8 and the back-side central section 12 are located inside the width-directional both side edges of the absorber 6, and the width-directional length (a) of the back-side central section 12 is shorter than the width-directional length (b) of the surface-side central section 8.
