PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article capable of easily holding viscous and liquid feces and preventing leakage of the feces.
SOLUTION: A front-side part 6, a center part 7 and a rear-side part 8 are sequentially formed along the longitudinal direction in the absorbent article. The absorbent article includes an absorbent article body 2 including a front surface sheet 11, a rear surface sheet 12 and a first absorber 13. Stretchable barrier flaps 3 are disposed along the longitudinal direction on both sides of the width direction of the absorbent article body 2, and pockets are formed in the absorbent article body 2 and in the barrier flaps 3 on both sides in the width direction of the absorbent article body 2. A both-side absorbent part 5 including an upper surface sheet 31, a lower-surface sheet 32 and a second absorber 33 is disposed along the longitudinal direction within each pocket. Both side absorbent part 5 is not joined to the absorbent article body 2, but both side absorbent part 5 is intermittently joined to the barrier flap 3 by intermittent joint parts 41 along the longitudinal direction.
