PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which effectively prevents generation of unintended wrinkles when the absorbent article in a fitted state is deformed by external force.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2 of an absorbent article 10 is made of a non-woven fabric 1 with an uneven structure, in which stripe-shaped projections 13 and recesses 14 extending in a longitudinal direction are arranged alternately in a width direction. The projection 13 has a hollow structure. An absorber 4 has high basis weight parts 411, which extend in a longitudinal direction X, and low basis weight parts 412, whose basis weight is relatively lower than that of the high basis weight part 411, alternately in a width direction Y.
