PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having fitting properties and softness at waist end edges.SOLUTION: Parts of an outer sheet 11 of an outer wrapper body 10 that extend in the longitudinal direction more than an inner sheet 12 are folded back at waist end edges 6 of a disposable diaper so as to be divided into an outer surface 11a located at a non-skin-facing surface side and an inner surface 11b located in a skin-facing surface side. At least a part of a cushion sheet 14 is interposed between the outer surface 11a and the inner surface 11b of the outer sheet 11. The cushion sheet 14 is folded back at the waist end edges 6 so as to be divided into an outer layer 14a located at the non-skin-facing surface and an inner layer 14b located in a skin-facing surface side. At least one of waist stretchable members 13 of the outer wrapper body 10 can be fixed between the outer layer 14a and the inner layer 14b of the cushion sheet 14 in a stretched state along the width direction of the disposable diaper.
