PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the body and sharpness of a beer-taste beverage.SOLUTION: In a method for improving the body and sharpness of a beer-taste beverage, the content of water-soluble dietary fiber is adjusted to 0.5-4.0 w/v% and the content of iso-&alpha-acid is adjusted to 7-23 ppm in a beer-taste beverage containing barley-derived ingredients and purine bodies in an amount of 1.1 mg/100 ml or less. In the method for improving the body and sharpness of a beer-taste beverage, the content of water-soluble dietary fiber is adjusted to 0.5-4.0 w/v% and the content of iso-&alpha-acid is adjusted to 7-23 ppm in a beer-taste beverage containing barley-derived ingredients and extracted components other than the water-soluble dietary fiber in an amount of 0.40 g/100 cmor less.
