An operation apparatus for electrocautery includes a grip, an operation handle, a stopper, a positioning rod, and a follower assembly. One end of the operation handle is pivotally arranged on the grip and could be selectively rotated between a starting position and at least one working position. The other end of the operation handle includes a pressing portion. The positioning rod is mounted to the grip and includes at least one positioning groove. When the pressing portion of the operation handle is pressed, the operation handle would move from the starting position to one of the working position and one end of the follower assembly would receive and stop in one of the positioning groove. An user can use the operation apparatus as a scissors without any additionally learning or practicing.
