PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shouldering-type power implement enabling a grip to be drawing out smoothly and simply without forcing an operator to take a difficult posture when starting an engine, also enabling the operator to carry out the operation by an easy posture when drawing out the grip in a state of the implement put on the ground or on a work bench without shouldering the implement, and preventing an unreasonable flexural force to act on a starter rope.SOLUTION: The shouldering-type power implement includes a shouldering frame 6, an engine 3 supported by the shouldering frame 6, a recoil starter 7 for starting the engine 3 by dragging the starter rope 72 according to the drawing action of the grip 71, and a rope guide mechanism 8 for guiding the drawing action of the starter rope 72 to be drawn out according to the drawing action of the grip 71, and capable of holding the grip 71 before the drawing operation at a starting initial position, and is constituted so that the rope guide 8 may be turned at least in the height direction based on the shouldering frame 6.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】エンジンを始動させる際に、作業者に無理な姿勢を強いることなく、スムーズ且つ簡単にグリップを引き出すことができるとともに、背負わずに地面や作業台上に置いた状態でグリップを引き出す場合にも作業者が楽な姿勢で行うことができ、スタータロープに無理な曲げ力が作用することを防止できる背負式動力作業機を提供する。【解決手段】背負フレーム6と、背負フレーム6に支持されるエンジン3と、グリップ71を引く動作に伴ってスタータロープ72を牽引することによりエンジン3を始動させるリコイルスタータ7と、グリップ71を引く動作に伴って引き出されるスタータロープ72の引き出し動作をガイドし、且つ引き出し操作前のグリップ71を始動初期位置に保持可能なロープガイド機構8とを備え、ロープガイド機構8を、背負フレーム6に対して少なくとも高さ方向に回動可能に構成した。【選択図】図4
