PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifier realizing purifying effect to an object that exists at a separated place regardless of whether it is in gas phase or liquid phase, and a method of purification.SOLUTION: A purifier of the present invention comprises at least gas generating means for generating gaseous nitric acid and nitrous acid.
