PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of well recovering body fluid such as urine while constituting the whole absorbent article compact.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 100 has an absorbent body 21 absorbing urine, a liquid-permeable top sheet 22 covering a main face in the inside in a skin face side of the absorbent body 21, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 23 covering the main face outside of the absorbent body 21, and a liquid recovering container 24 arranged in the inner space 2S formed of the top sheet 22 and the back sheet 23 and storing the excreted urine inside thereof. The liquid recovering container 24 exhibits a substantially circular cylindrical shape of a hollow cup shape and is constituted of a container body 241 where an opening part 24a is formed and a cover sheet 242 covering the opening part 24a. The opening area of the opening part 24a is smaller than the opening area of the inside of the container body 241, and the contained urine is prevented from leaking from the opening part 24a.
