PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid device which adequately adjusts force of walking aid according to walking conditions of a user.SOLUTION: The walking aid device 10 comprises right and left equipment 12R and 12L, and a controller 30. Each equipment has a sensor which detects motion of a leg of the user and an actuator 26 which adds torque to the joint of the leg of the user. The controller stores standard walking patterns which are data describing the motion of the walking leg and in which at least one of a stride, a walking cycle and an inclination angle of a walking surface is made under prescribed standard walking conditions.
