1. An oral care composition containing the following components: i) a source of fluoride ion; ii) a source of calcium ion; iii) a source of phosphate ion; iv) stabilized chlorine dioxide to remove plaque and biofilm from the tooth surface; v) where the pH of the composition is from about 6.0 to about 8.0; where the source of calcium ion and the source of phosphate ion contain a specific apatite compound, which is nanocrystalline apatite, in which crystallites determine the size of each apatite particle equal to less than 100 nm, and the source of fluoride ions and compounds e apatite, when used together, provides remineralization due to the formation of fluorinated apatite on the tooth surface. 2. An oral care composition according to claim 1, wherein the apatite particles have such a size distribution that at least about 50% of the particle weight has a particle size of less than about 5 microns. The oral composition according to claim 1, wherein said apatite is present in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 15 mass. % composition. 4. An oral care composition according to claim 1, wherein the apatite crystallites have a size of from about 30 nm to 50 nm, and where the apatite particles have such a size distribution that at least about 15% of the mass of the apatite particles has a size of less than about 5 micron. 5. The oral composition according to claim 4, wherein said apatite is present in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 25 mass. % composition. 6.
