PURPOSE: A producing method of an antidiabetic and anti-oxidant complex composition and health promoting drink using guava and yacon is provided to maximize the function of the guava and the yacon by propery mixing the components.CONSTITUTION: A producing method of an antidiabetic and anti-oxidant complex composition comprises the following steps: washing and drying guava leaves washing and cutting yacon roots, and drying hot water extracting both ingredients, and mixing 70-90wt% of guava leaf hot water extract and 10-30wt% of yacon root hot water extract to obtain the complex composition having the sweetness of 0.05-0.2 Brix adding a food additive into the composition and sterilizing and cooling the complex composition.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012본 발명은 구아바 잎과 야콘 뿌리에 대한 항당뇨 및 항산화 활성 효과를 적극적으로 이용하기 위한 방안으로, 적절한 조성의 복합조성물과, 우수한 기호도의 기능성 건강음료 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 복합조성물은, 구아바 잎 추출물 70~90중량%와 야콘 뿌리 추출물 10~30중량%로 구성하여 항당뇨 내지 항산화 용도로 제공하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 건강음료의 제조방법은, 구아바 잎을 세척하여 건조하는 한편, 야콘 뿌리를 세척한 후 절단하여 건조하는 제1단계 구아바 잎 열수 추출물 70~90중량%와 야콘 뿌리 열수 추출물 10~30중량%로 조성된 0.05~0.2brix의 복합조성물을 얻는 제2단계 복합조성물을 살균 냉각하는 제3단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
