PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide external skin care preparations excellent in anti-aging effects, moisturizing effects, skin whitening effects, anti-oxidizing effects and anti-inflammatory effects in order to meet the requirements of developing ingredients having more excellent effects because some naturally derived ingredients do not have so sufficient effects.
SOLUTION: It is found that an ingredient obtained from Hedyotis strigulosa, (Family: Rubiaceae., Genus: Hedyotis.) is excellent in anti-aging effects, moisturizing effects, skin whitening effects, anti-oxidizing effects and anti-inflammatory effects, thereby providing anti-aging agents, moisturizing agents, skin whitening agents, anti-oxidizing agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and external skin care preparations.
