PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product capable of suppressing leakage of excrement from the lower portion of a wearer.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper 1 in a state where a front outer cover sheet 41 and a rear outer cover sheet 42 are separated from each other to be developed, as the distance in a left-right direction from an absorbent body 2 increases, the lower edge 422 of the rear outer cover sheet 42 goes away from an upper edge 421 of the rear outer cover sheet 42 and then goes toward the upper edge 421. A leg elastic member 43 is bonded on the rear outer cover sheet 42 along its lower edge 422, in both sides of left and right of the absorbent body 2. As described above, in the disposable diaper 1, the lower end portion of the rear outer cover sheet 42 is convex downward in both sides of left and right of the absorbent body 2, and lower portions of hips (and portions near the boundary between the hips and thigh) of a wearer are wrapped with the lower end portions. It is therefore possible to suppress leakage of excrement from the lower portion of the wearer.【課題】吸収性物品において着用者の後側下方からの排泄物の漏れを抑制する。【解決手段】使い捨ておむつ１では、前部外装シート４１と後部外装シート４２とを分離して伸展させた状態において、後部外装シート４２の下エッジ４２２が、吸収体２から左右方向に離れるに従って後部外装シート４２の上エッジ４２１から離れる方向へと向かった後に上エッジ４２１に近づく方向へと向かう。また、脚部弾性部材４３が、吸収体２の左右方向の両側において、後部外装シート４２の下エッジ４２２に沿って後部外装シート４２に接合される。このように、使い捨ておむつ１では、吸収体２の左右両側において、後部外装シート４２の下端部が下側に凸となっており、当該下端部により着用者の臀部の下部（および、臀部と大腿部との境目近傍の部位）が包み込まれることにより、着用者の後側下方からの排泄物の漏れを抑制することができる。【選択図】図３
