PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of effectively preventing leakage of loose stool and watery stool.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes an absorber 22, a top sheet 18 disposed to cover the upper face of the absorber 22 and at least partially formed of a liquid permeable material, a back sheet 20 disposed to cover the lower face of the absorber 22 and formed of a liquid impermeable material, and further includes a stool receiving lower sheet 50b and a stool receiving sheet 50a on the upper face of the top sheet 18 in this order from the side of the top sheet 18, wherein the stool receiving lower sheet 50b made of a continuous fiber whose fiber is formed of a thermoplastic resin and oriented in one direction and both ends of the continuous fiber are thermally bonded to the top sheet 18.
