PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that can refresh mood of a user by changing fragrances before and after the use of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a surface sheet 2 forming a skin-facing surface a rear sheet 3 forming a skin non-facing surface and an absorber 4 interposed between both the sheets 2 and 3. The absorbent article 1 has a part B facing an excretion part, which is arranged facing the excretion part of a wearer when it is worn. The part B facing the excretion part contains two types of fragrances, one of which is a fragrance that is able to evaporate fragrance components in air under atmospheric pressure, and the other of which is a fragrance precursor that emits fragrance components by contact with moisture. The fragrance and the fragrance precursor coincide in a plane view of the absorbent article 1. To be more specific, the absorber 4 has an upper layer 401 (40) located near the skin of a wearer, and an under layer 402 (41) located distantly from the skin of the wearer.
