PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can spread aroma all over the absorbent article by body pressure when worn and by inward pressing force by the thigh part of the wearer, allows fragrance to last long, and the fragrance to be sufficiently generated.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a surface sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3, and an absorber 4 put between both of these sheets 2, 3. The surface sheet 2 has a skin side protrusion part 21 having a protrusion internal space S1 on the skin opposite surface side. The absorber 4 has a slit 43 in an excretion part facing part B. The absorber 4 arranges fragrance 9 inside positioned in the excretion part facing part B.
