PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an endoscope and an endoscope apparatus capable of safely and stably observing a test object in a high temperature environment by effectively cooling the insertion part of the endoscope apparatus according to an environmental change in temperature.
SOLUTION: The cooling device for the endoscope 20 includes: a sheath 22 forming a cooling passage 21 for flowing a cooling fluid A between the peripheral face of the insertion part 6 with itself and attached to the leading end of the insertion part 6 a window 40 provided on the peripheral face or leading-end face of the sheath 22 and making it possible to observe the outside from the inside of the sheath 22 through the observing member 3 of the insertion part 6 a fluid supply part 28 connected to the sheath 22 and communicating with the cooling passage 21, thereby supplying the cooling fluid A a fluid discharging part 29 connected to the sheath 22 and communicating with the cooling passage 21, thereby discharging the cooling fluid A and a first temperature sensor 27 for detecting the temperature of the cooling fluid A flowing in the cooling passage 21.
