PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope cooling device which can be mounted to an insertion part of an endoscope apparatus and therefore enables an object to be observed without degrading operability of the insertion part even under a high-temperature environment, and to provide the endoscope apparatus.
SOLUTION: The endoscope cooling apparatus 20 is used for cooling the distal end side of the insertion part 6 of the endoscope apparatus observing the object by circulating cooling fluid therethrough, and is equipped with: a sheath 22 which forms a cooling flow passage 21 for allowing the cooling fluid to flow therethrough between the sheath and the outer circumferential surface of the insertion part 6 and which is mounted to the distal end side of the insertion part 6 an observation window 35 disposed at either or both of the side face and the distal end face of the sheath 22 a fluid circulation part which supplies the cooling fluid to the cooling flow passage 21 and collects it and a connection mouthpiece 24 connected with the sheath 22 rotatably around the center axis C of the sheath 22 to communicate the fluid circulation part with the cooling flow passage 21 so that the cooling fluid can be supplied and collected.
