The present invention relates to an adjustable wheelchair with improved lift mechanism for use with vehicles wherein the height of the said wheelchair can be adjusted using a power actuator mechanism, the sides of the said wheelchair can be lowered using a similar mechanism, the control for both mechanisms is provided in an easily accessible part of the said wheelchair, and the said wheelchair has tiny wheels under its seat that act as a trolley and helps in the smooth shifting of user from the said wheelchair to the vehicle seat, thereby reducing the strain/discomfort of the wheelchair user.
