Peptide hydrolyzate (A) enriched in bioactive peptide capable of activating the human transglutaminase, is new, where the bioactive peptide contains 4-6 amino acids having at least two arginine residues, glycine residue and glutamine residue. An independent claim is included for cosmetic composition comprising (A) (0.0001-20 wt.%, preferably 0.05-5 wt.%) in a medium. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Transglutaminase activator. The ability of (I) to activate transglutaminase was tested in normal human keratinocytes. The results showed that the transglutaminase activity of (I) was increased by 30% after 24 hours.
