PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of increasing the visibility of a pattern and facilitating positioning during wearing without deteriorating such basic performance as a liquid absorption property.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a front sheet, a back sheet, and an absorber disposed between both sheets. The absorbent article has an elongate shape with a front part and a rear part with respect to an area corresponding to an excretion part. A print layer is disposed on the skin surface side of the back sheet. The absorber has low-weight parts at portions in front of and behind the area corresponding to the excretion part, and gradually decreases in thickness toward a front end and a rear end based on the widthwise center cross-sectional view of the low-weight parts.
