PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for fishing operation, which allows a user to operate even a long fishing rod easily, which reduces load applied to a fishing person, without adding an extra mechanism on a butt rod, and which can be easily detached if it is not needed, and which facilitates storage.SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool for fishing operation comprises: a fitting part 7 capable of being detachably attached to a rod body 6 a fishing belt 8 and a support part 9 which is inserted into and attached to a space between the fishing belt 8 and a lumber part of a fishing person who wears the fishing belt 8, for supporting the fitting part 7.
