PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic rod by which casting can be sufficiently enjoyed and a fishing line guide is not damaged when the telescopic rod is drained of water after fishing.SOLUTION: An upper butt rod 3 includes a fixed guide 3A. The fixed guide 3A includes: plate-like legs 3a attached to the surface of the upper butt rod a support frame 3b projecting outward from the legs 3a and a guide frame 3c for insertion of a fishing line which is attached to the support frame 3b. A fitting seat 7 is formed closer to a butt section relative to a region where the legs 3a are placed. A ring-shaped stopper body 8 is detachably attached to the fitting seat 7.
