PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod giving sufficient inclination of a reel seat by exquisitely devising the attaching part of the reel seat.SOLUTION: A spacer 6 is externally fitted on a butt section rod 1 and a seat base 2A for placing and supporting a reel leg Rb is externally fitted on the spacer 6.
