PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine (a medical composition) reducing concentration of acetaldehyde and ethanol in exhaled air and/or blood during and after intake of alcoholic beverages inhibiting or preventing uncomfortable feeling during and after the intake of alcoholic beverages.
SOLUTION: The new agent having excellent effect for reducing acetaldehyde and ethanol concentration in exhaled air and/or blood during and after the intake of alcoholic beverages can be provided by using fucoidan derived from Nemacystus decipiens, as an effective agent. The agent makes a substance derived from abundantly consumed natural foods as the effective ingredient, thus there is no problem on safety.
