The purpose of the present invention is to propose a composition which comprises earthworm as an active ingredient and can inhibit fatty liver and nephromegaly that are likely induced by diabetes. The composition, which inhibits fatty liver and nephromegaly caused by diabetes, is prepared by: inoculating a fruit and vegetable extract with yeasts to give a fermented liquor； adding earthworms to the fermented liquor and fermenting the earthworms to give fermented earthworms； adding, to the fermented earthworms, Panax notoginseng followed by fermenting and drying to give a fermented mixture； and mixing the fermented mixture with ants and gingko leaves.本發明係以提案一種藉由含有蚯蚓作為有效成分，抑制因糖尿病引發的可能性極高之脂肪肝及腎肥大的組成物為目的。本發明係有關藉由於蔬果萃取物中接種酵母後所得之發酵液中，混入蚯蚓並使該蚯蚓發酵而獲得發酵蚯蚓，再將該發酵蚯蚓與三七混合後使其發酵乾燥，獲得發酵混合物，將該發酵混合物與螞蟻及銀杏葉混合後，所獲得之抑制糖尿病所致之脂肪肝及腎肥大的組成物。
