The emulsified composition, in particular, a w \/ O type (oil in water type) emulsion composition, has emulsification stability and has little skin irritation, and provides a material having moisture retention sustainability. The modified clay minerals obtained by treating clay minerals with specific acyl arginine derivatives have been found to be solved.乳化組成物、とりわけW/O型(油中水型)乳化組成物に対して、乳化安定性を有し、皮膚刺激性を殆ど有さず、保湿持続性を有する素材を提供することである。粘土鉱物を特定のアシルアルギニン誘導体により処理して得られる変性粘土鉱物により、上記課題が解決できることを見出した。
