PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allergen-reducing composition, to provide a method for reducing allergens using the composition, to provide the allergen-reducing composition efficiently inactivating the allergens derived from house dust, mites, pollens etc., in environments even under dry conditions and to provide an allergen-reducing filter material or sheet obtained by processing the allergen-reducing composition.
SOLUTION: The allergen-reducing composition is composed of an extract from a seed or pericarp of at least one species of plant selected from the genus Vitis of the family Vitaceae. The method for removing the allergens comprises treating the allergen-reducing composition in the environments. The filter material or sheet is prepared by processing the allergen-reducing composition.
