An assisting device, system and method for cooking foods are present. Firstly, an electronic recipe in the assisting device is selected, and a main ingredient indicated by the electronic recipe is confirmed and then scaled by a scaling unit on the assisting device. Secondly, the assisting device computes the amount of condiments needed to add according to the scaled amount of the main ingredient and the ratio recorded in the selected electronic recipe. The computed amount of the condiments is displayed via a display unit on the assisting device.
