The present invention relates to a method for preparing sweet and sour pork. More particularly, the present invention discloses a method for preparing sweet and sour pork which has enhanced texture and health functionality by adding a predetermined sauce mixture by using lotus roots instead of meat as an ingredient of sweet and sour pork.
